The NOAA weather radio station in Sudlersville, Md., remains out of service, the National Weather Service reported today on its Web site.

The station WXK-97, broadcasts on a frequency of 162.5 MHz and is the primary weather radio station serving central Delaware and nearby Maryland.

A return to service time is still unknown, the weather service said, but officials will be at the site Tuesday.

Alternative weather radio stations nearby are:

• 162.400 MHz /station KHB-38, Atlantic City

• 162.475 MHz /station KIH-28, Philadelphia

• 162.550 MHz /station WXJ-94, Lewes

• 162.425 MHz /station WNG-704, Hibernia Park, Pa.

• 162.400 MHz /station KEC-83, Baltimore/Pikesville, Md.
