I have a list of Federal Repeaters for I believe the Maryland/DC area but I am unable to figure out PL's and locations of the repeaters. Since the Feds are not required to post their frequencies on the FCC database it makes this harder. Has anyone heard traffic on these pairings and where was it and has anyone gotten the PL's?

FBI 163.4250 163.9250
FBI 163.7250 163.7750
FBI 163.8000 164.5500
FBI 162.6375 162.7875
ATF 165.2875 166.5375
FCC 167.0500 172.8000
US Dept. of Trans. 166.4625 166.5875
US Marshal 163.2000 163.8125
US Marshal 164.6000 163.8125

Does anyone have any they would like to share. The MD Database on RR isn't very extensive on federal stuff other that National Park Service and US Park Police.

Feds commonly use listed PL tones. Try 167.9 PL for FBI. ATF is probably 100.0 PL. In my area, Marshals are CSQ (no tone). I have monitored DEA from Hagerstown, MD on 418.95 & 418.975. Also look at 163.625 for possible actity. And I wrote something down a while back on 169.925, maybe Secret Service. Let me know if you want some military air freqs for western Maryland.

Gilligan thanks for the info. That is great. I would love some MilAir for Western MD if you can share. There is a decent US Customs repeater that I can hit in Cumberland it is
RX 165.2375 TX 166.4375 PL 100.0. I have it listed as a Nationwide repeater but I am not sure of its location in Western MD or what it is used for locally. I usually hear data bursts but not much voice.

Sounds good. My Pro 96 just does not get the signal completly from the southern part of the county....

I also heard "Oscar" "Sierra" used around easter.....But again, not close enough....

I had 169.925 in all weekend and sitting on that channel only. All I heard was an occasional squelch, no voice what so ever.

During "slow times" there may be little to know action....

Night time is usually the busiest, even during slow times.....

I too did not hear much this weekend...
