THIS LITTLE ANTENNA DOES A GREAT JOB WITH 800MHZ COVERAGE! NO NAME eBAY SPECIAL, I USE IT NOW AND THEN WITH SDS100 AND THE OTHER PORTABLES. VERY GOOD LOCAL RECEPTION
Does very well, almost on par with my rooftop discone, except (for distant) I am not hearing vhf fire calls in Indiana or Cincy (45 mi approx.) that I hear with the discone on an SDS100 and SDS200. Locally? Perfect.
