For the last two days this frequency has sounded poor, like I am a bit off frequency.
I've tried four of my scanners and it's the same.

All other channels in all bands sound fine. The mode is FM or NFM.

Anyone else have this problem or have an answer?

I'm checking further on this.

Thanks, Bob

The audio is still pretty bad. Sound likes it's off frequency but enough to still hear it.

Hard to believe it would take this long to correct it.

Anyone getting a good clear signal on 155.01?

Well, there will be multiple transmitters that will be broadcasting at the same time... One in the NW, one in the NE, one in the central/north part of the county, and one at the main office... These will all be "sync'd" by GPS and use high stability transmitters. Once done, you should hear it pretty well and full scale everywhere you go - in the north part of the county... If you hear it bad, your probably between the transmitters where full optimization has not taken place... drive a few feet or so away and see if it sounds better...

We did the same thing in Battle Creek with the Metro Township fire frequency; sounded awful until they got everything tweaked just right.

Right now its off the air - soon to be back on. This will be happening on both the primary police and soon to be the fire channels. It will be nice to drive from point A to point B, and have the signal be full scale... No more fire tones on multiple towers... Should make life easier.

Great information, thanks to those of you who are in the know.

I'm getting 155.01 very good in NE part of county. I don't monitor the South dispatch on 155.73.

Will be great to have good clear coverage in the full county on both Sheriff and Fire.
