TG 3842-"Test 1,2" logged with an RID associated with the Isabella County Sheriff Department. Logged with HP-2E Discovery Mode on the Mt. Pleasant tower.
Also, the Mt. Pleasant tower is using some of the newly added 854+ Mhz channels. 856.5375 (LCN 885) and 856.6375 (LCN 901) have shown up so far.

Received a report that the city of Warren will be switching over to the MPSCS tomorrow morning between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. They will be on the Macomb County Simulcast cell.

Default Ottawa County

I'm just curious if anyone has information on when Ottawa county will be making the p25 cut over. I've looked at the Dispatch Authority website for meeting minutes and saw that it was pushed back but that last meeting minute online is from July of 2017 and nothing new. Anyone have info?

Yeah, I know. Those talkgroups have been there for quite a while. They are building a simulcast system at this point and should be online soon, I was wondering if anyone had detailed information on when they will switch over.

They're on these MPSCS talkgroups:

1974 U.S. Border Patrol: Base-to-Base
2275 U.S. Border Patrol: Common
5092 U.S. Border Patrol: Sault Ste. Marie
2276 U.S. Border Patrol: Tac 1
2277 U.S. Border Patrol: Tac 2
2278 U.S. Border Patrol: Tac 3
2279 U.S. Border Patrol: Tac 4

I've never picked them up when I've been in Port Huron for the day a few times, but maybe you'll have better luck.

I have picked up their old VHF conventional P25 channels but they were all encrypted:

163.62500 100 NAC Detroit Primary
163.67500 110 NAC Monroe Ops
163.67500 330 NAC Saginaw Ops
165.68750 301 NAC Monroe Ops
165.90000 293 NAC Ops
171.26250 151 NAC Lake Erie
172.23750 151 NAC Ops
173.93750 451 NAC Sault Ste. Marie Ops

Border Patrol operates some traffic on MPSCS.

BPSHQ1 is the proper TG Alpha of one of their TGs but I'm not sure which one exactly is it. Database seems to have wrong tags.

Border Patrol for the Detroit area uses their VHF ps25 encrypted frequencies. Once in a blue moon you might be able to hear a unit in the clear but their dispatch is always encrypted. They also carry a state prep to monitor DPD, and all other cities that border the border. The Detroit BP guys/gals do not normally use the State system. BP in the U.P will tho(I use to work at a marina on the River and had a Detroit BP unit next to me who identified the unit number on the state system as a UP unit).

Heard 4308 off the Grayling tower. Sounds like Kalkaska county EMS dispatch patch. Calling for BLS transport from Kalkaska...
edit: just heard a tone out for a fire station for gas smell....

Default TG11688

Pretty sure we can call TG 11688 as radio system techs.
A guy in the field was checking tower sites. Caught something like "checked and I'll be clear of site 21-2". Guy in the field was transmitting in the clear. The responses to him were all encrypted with DES.

I herd this last week also. Sounded 100% like techs doing site work

Try this: https://www.radioreference.com/apps/...opt=all_tg#tgs

Talkgroups are sorted in numerical order. 5174 is Missaukee County Dispatch... I'm sure most if not all are probably listed there as well...
