Yep...it felt like it wasn't around that long either, if you do not count the years it took to bring the system online

It sounds like they are just upgrading equipment at the sites, and transitioning to FirstNet, as it comes online.

Krokus everything I have heard both on and off of this web site would indicate they are switching to a Motorola system, possibly a phase II system. Here is a thread that may interest you...

From one if the documents(on first page of the thread that kd8ati linked. The link you are looking for is the one that someone said go to page 190) i read, they can not upgrade any of the current equipment in its current standing. The recommendation in the document is to build its own system like the Detroit simplex system on MPSCS. If i read that wrong may someone please correct me.
