My wife, youngest son, and another couple were in Ironwood last weekend snowmobiling. I ended up not taking my Unication G5 along, but I might the next visit. Anyway, I am just trying to get a better feel for listening in that area. Is most police, fire, EMS, etc. on the MPSCS system now?
I assume that there are probably more talkgroups in use in that area that simply aren't listed. If anybody that is familiar with that area wants to suggest a talkgroups list for monitoring when I am in that area, that would be great.
I would likely program 64 talkgroups just for that county. What would be the "must have" mutual aid talkgroups for that area? It looks like the entire UP is MSP District 8.
