Let me preference this wit h YES I know Mil-air uses BOTH VHF and UHF frequencies but I never heard them use both frequencies at once. I was in Millville yesterday (yes at the race track) and heard aircraft come up on ZDC19 Woodstownn on BOTH 125.4500 AND 363.000 at the same time. Sound like military. Wonderig if this is normal??

It's not unusual for ATC to simulcast VHF and UHF but it is odd for the aircraft to broadcast on both. In fact, I've never heard it happen before. One possibility is this: previous controller tells a "flight" (2 or more aircraft) to contact ZDC and gives both ufh and vhf frequencies. Some in flight go to UHF and some to VHF. Normally they would just use one band, pre coordinated.
