I currently own a radio shack pro-106 scanner thats works well, I owned the model previous to the 106 and it was a big improvement. Currently I am running into a lot of simlcast interference where I am living in Minneapolis with no way to get a directional antenna. I am begging to be frustrated with the 106 because I will miss out on important transmissions because they just drop out due to the interference.
Here are my questions:
1.)What scanners do you guys use?
2.) What scanner would you recommend and why?
I located about 5 miles south of downtown Minneapolis so I get good reception from a lot of simulcasts
What I want to scan: Hennepin county, Minneapolis, Saint Paul, Dakota count(When I can get the Signal), Anoka county.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated as I am seriously considering purchasing a new one and would like to know what other scan enthusiasts, who scan the same stuff as me, have to say!
