Radio Monitor Meeting, Sunday, 12-03-17 4:00 PM To 6:00 PM Bloomington Davanni's

As posted above, this is now official. There will be a meeting Sunday, December 3, 2017, at Davanni's Pizza, Bloomington, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The street address is 8605 Lyndale Ave S, Bloomington, MN 55420, Phone 952-888-6232. To give people a general sense of where this is, it is a few blocks south of I-494 and a few blocks east of I-35W. They also have free wifi.

If anybody is interested in an official (or unofficial) talk in frequency, I can probably line up 146.700. The Minneapolis PL tones is 127.3. Please let me know if that is of interest to you.

Please consider bringing your equipment to show off to others. I am always interested to see how each receiver performs on the ARMER system.

I plan on being there, one thing I would like to ask on the bringing equipment, does anyone have the scanner set up on there computer where you use a dongal, I've seen this on youtube channels. And would like to see this up close if possible.Ive heard you should use a computer with dual processor.To run the programs.

Gentleman I know I'm kind of premature asking this here, but i have heard a bit about depreciated frequencies and rebanding. I have a RS PRO-106 arriving in days. Haven't been monitoring in a few years. What changes have been made to Washington county public safety?

I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who attended this. As always, I had a good time and learned a LOT from others here.

If there is any interest in another meeting, please let me know and I can certainly arrange another one. If there is interest, I might be inclined to use the same location again and possibly another Sunday at about 4 PM.
