SMA High pass filter

These help my RTL-SDR with picking up ARMER and airplanes (978 & 1080 MHz). Supplier has 2 dozen left. I'm getting 3 more tomorrow (payday).

I'm not sure how a high pass filter with specifications of:HIGH PASS FILT 700 MHZ - 3.0 GHZ would help with aircraft since most aircraft operate 108-138 MHz. I use an FM broadcast band 88-108 MHZ notch filter helps me immensely with ARMER monitoring because I'm only a few miles from all the FM broadcast station transmitters.

The OP is talking about ADS-B from aircraft (he put 978 and 1090 MHz in parathesis), not AM voice traffic.
