Default Unication G Pager on ARMER

Im curious if anyone has any experience with using the Unication Series G pagers on ARMER. Looking at purchasing s couple for some pagers since they are cheaper then radios for limited fire dept budget. Just seeing what they are like for scanning and pavging on VHF. Feedback on this product will help get more insight on this product.

Yes I have used my G5 throughout much of MN on ARMER. Mostly Metro and the Detroit Lakes Area, but other areas as well. It does great.

I try to let everyone know that while it works great for this, it is like a radio you have limited ability to change any scanning options without reprogramming the pager. You have to plan how you are going to use it in your programming.

That being said it is the next best receiver for P25 next to an actual radio.
