cops persue a suspected kidnapper at over 100 mph through lauderdale county on 39

subject was a suspect involved in the kidnapping of a south Carolina 4 year old. he had already released the 4 year old in Alabama. the chase started on 59/20 after the suspect was spotted. the chase went down 45 and 39 and ended in dekalb.

several threats were made against meridian area schools and against quitman high school. the threats are taking serious. and police believe that two subjects are behind them. in a separate case ,a threat was made against quitman school.

a prisoner that was in custody with the lauderdale county sheriff died... his body has been sent to the state to be examined.

Clarke county is looking for and 84 ear old male with downs syndrome and Alzheimer who dissapeared a few minute ago.... more when info comes in

Man shoots wife

A man has shot himself and his wife this afternoon in the town of basic city near the lauderdale/Clarke county line..... this is still developing,further post when updated.
