Ok, Using Pro96com tracking the Poplar Bluff site today heard some radio checks, Pro96 is showing adjacent site being Bloomfield and Doniphan and one that's not showing the name.....Frequency being 152.8175c and 152.610a. Does anyone know which tower and county these control channels are coming from?

I'm tracking (Site 309)152.8175 directly using Pro96com and get 152.8175c and 152.6100a and 152.5175. It shows a callsign of CHANGEME like the Poplar Bluff Tower. It seems to be distant from my location as well. Using those frequencies I'm not sure how to find the location, though it must be rural to avoid paging interference. The Poplar Bluff tower came back online today at about 6:00 after being down since 1/6/12. Unknown Site 309 shows Poplar Bluff, Doniphan and Bloomfield as adjacent sites.

Nice find, thanks. Seems its MOSWIN site 301 and I get a decent decode, though its not real close to me. I'll sit on this for awhile and see if I get any more channels or callsigns. It shows no adjacent sites right now.

New towers are popping up almost daily. I would say MOSWIN is past the pilot stage and in stage one.

Update MOSWIN site 301 shows 171.6875 with a callsign of CHANGEME.

I've got one of these Optoelectronics, Inc. Scout. so just to be sure I drove out the the tower there on NN HWY(Bakersville) and lock on to in right away. They must not be done working on yet, the gate that blocks off the drive to the repeater shack was left open.

Our local radio station had a story about MOSWIN in our area. They said there will be slow moving cars with retired patrol members & Motorola employees traveling all roads in the next 40 or so days testing the system.

Just for everyone's info, I'm currently looking at a website that says there is a Phase II meeting in Rolla at 2PM scheduled for tomorrow (1/12). Phase II is not P25, it is the second phase of the system in-case of any confusion.

Is there a timeline posted for this project online? I live in Springfield, and I'm trying to figure out when I should actually start monitoring activity for Troop D.

That's what we're doing now with Troop E. They just came alive a couple of days ago. I mean using Wildcards.

Mike; no frequencies have been seen for that area yet... Most of the sites where licenses have been applied for (or received) are in Southern MO; with just a handful in North MO.

I have a couple questions about the system itself.

1) Lets suppose an agency, such as Ripley county is thinking about joining MOSWIN, which could involve more than one site depending where a particular user is located. Is this agency required to offer-up a frequency (or pair) per tower for the area they want coverage?

2) In this example, let's assume Ripley county and the US Forest service are on MOSWIN, along with the Highway patrol, and maybe a city or two.......Are the frequencies then pooled to act like a single agency trunked system for the use of any agency requiring them on that tower, or are the frequencies chosen by the system determined by the agency requesting air-use, and subsequently assigned a frequency that agency contributed ?
