Is the dispatch frequency for ARCH Air Comm STL base 461.52500? What other frequencies does ARCH use and how do they work? Does the dispatch frequency dispatch ARCH like dispatchers do for public safety, or is it just helicopter operations? Thanks!

461.525 is the High Ridge tower. Others in MO: Cape Girardeau 462.95, Columbia 154.965, Joplin 460.375, Walker/Nevada 158.040, Sedalia 152.33, St. Joe 160.185, STL Aviation 123.025. All used for helicopter dispatch & operations. Controlled out of AirCom in Omaha NE.

Also try 462.075 for the Litchfield tower. They use it a lot for comms near Springfield. The basic method is to call the base for the specific copter by phone and as they go airborne the call information is given to them. Also for IL, ARCH sometimes uses IREACH 155.055 for ground contact.

Also, if you are on the fringe area of St Louis or Litchfield actual repeaters, you can also listen to the input frequency to hear the helo often much farther out transmitting, than the repeater output (467.xxx opposed to 462.xxx).
