Xts3000 problem

Hi everyone,
I have been programming my XTS3K flawlessly for a few days, but for some reason I tried programming the radio with the same code plug, but with a few corrections made. All I did was change some of the MDC Status and Message settings, changing names and such. But now anytime I write the latest edited code plug, it just keeps the old changes and doesn't update to the code plug with the changes I just made. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
EDIT: Sometimes the "write successful" message doesn't appear after the radio finishes programming, I don't know if this has anything to do with my problem.

Try reading the radio right before you write it. Save the edited codeplug to disk and load it just before writing to the radio. It should work.
