Hello, I have recently acquired an IBM 390E Pentium II running Windows 98 for the sole purpose of programming HT1000 radios. I apologize in advance for being so computer illiterate, but I am having trouble running the HT1000 RSS when I restart in MS-DOS mode. This is what I have done so far: Downloaded the HT1000 RSS zip file, Converted the zip file to exe, Loaded the exe file onto a 3.5" floppy, Restarted the computer in MS-DOS mode, Loaded the exe file to the hard drive in MS-DOS. This is as far as I'm able to get, I have no idea what to do or what the DOS commands are from this point to be able to run the program in MS-DOS. I have spent many hours searching forums and watching videos on the subject but have not been able to find what I need to do. I did find one detailed write up that stated; once the software is on the hard drive just to simply type HT1000 in the command line and the program should start up. I have never, ever used MS-DOS before and am completely unfamiliar with the commands. I tried to upload a photo of what I was doing on the screen but it won't let me upload it. I will try to type up what it showed:
C:\WINDOWS>COPY B:*.* C:
Insert diskette for drive B: and press any key when ready
B:HT1000.EXE
1 file(s) copied
(Me trying to get it to start up)
C:\WINDOWS>HT1000

Nothing happens just by typing HT1000.
Thanks in advance for any help for this computer illiterate, radio programming newbie.
