Default APX charger

This might be a dumb question- but will the APX 4000 charge in an xts impress charger? I heard they would but it was a rumor

If you use an adapter cup it will, NNTN8169. Recent firmware in the charger will also be beneficial.

Yes they will. My friend uses an apx7000 in an xts5000 charger and it works just fine for him.

An APX7K requires an adapter cup to charge in an XTS5K charger.

However, the APX4K uses a different style battery so comparing it to a 7K isn't valid.

As crazyboy said, with the proper adapter cup, he shouldn't have a problem.

They are similar to the XPR3300/3500 batteries right?
