Don't see anything on the website about encryption.
Asking local monitors will net you whatever they have actually observed on the system. The people who can tell you what is possible, even if nobody has seen it yet, are those who operate the system.

True but irrelevant, as obviously we are monitoring it. We are not using scanners.

Hello,

I had some enhanced propagation last night and received several OneVoice sites. I noticed the neighbor lists in the RRDB for most sites I heard was outdated. They did not list some nearby sites that are perhaps newer.

I also noticed that the Full Coverage map for the system has Eastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. It appears the NY northern expansion has reached into Vermont.
Full Coverage - OneVoice

The map shows a coverage gap in Southern RI, which explains why Sites 61 and 62 does not have any CT or NY sites as neighbors. I would expect new sites to close the gap given the site numbers. The neighbor list has expanded at the two sites.

Site 61 Abington PLYMOUTH MA Neighbors 62 63 64 66
472.46250 DMR DCC 1 Control

Site 62 Scituate PROVIDENCE RI Neighbors 61 63 64 66
471.21250 DMR DCC 2 Control

Here are the other sites I monitored.
Site 3 Selden SUFFOLK NY Neighbors 2 27 8
477.88750 DCC 8 Control

Site 4 1515 Broadway NEW YORK NY
477.43750 DCC 1 Traffic channel

Site 7 Glen Oaks NEW YORK NY Neighbors: 8 12 4 13 6
472.73750 DCC 11 Control Rptr 5

Site 8 Plainview NASSAU NY Neighbors 7 2 3
471.71250 DCC 8 Control

Site 26 Hartford HARTFORD CT Neighbors 3 8 9 15 50
454.19375 DCC 5 Control

Site 27 Manorville SUFFOLK CT Neighbors 3 9
454.45000 DCC 11 Control

Default OneVoice Network DMR TRS

Caught two new TG's last night, and was able to clarify another.

New TG's:
400220 - West Orange Site - Possibly a maritime mechanical company, talk of "Captain of the Thomas Kean tied off, requesting parts."

500250 - Alpine Site - Medical Facility, talk of a patient in a wheelchair needing to be moved to another wing.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Clarified TG
20100 - West Orange Site - Known to be a towing company, appeared only on West Orange.

Great catches! Let's keep this going as much as we can, considering how huge the network is. I bet once we see the final firmware, we'll start hearing quite a bit more users...

Thanks Scott. Part my intention of posting vs submitting was to try and get a collective going. I'm keeping the radio on OneVoice during my commute, so there should be more daily.

Default JFK Hospital EMS?

Does anyone happen to know what site the JFK Hospital EMS units from Edison would be using on the OneVoice Network? Or what would be the best site to monitor in Union County?

Thanks for any input.

They have been heard on the Belle Mead site out of Somerset County, but I guarantee you there is a site closer to northern Middlesex/southern Union.

Every known site in the system is there on the main page - just gotta search around & find control channels that are sending the system ID of 171.

Glad to see the discussion added here, looking forward to adding the capability to my array here to listen to this. Couple of questions- what are you guys listening to these systems with now? And do we have a primer posted on the site to setting up the systems and monitoring?

Thanks!
