While driving to Lincoln for my work late this morning, I did some listening to the Lincoln site and ran across a testing "marathon"!

New TGIDs

50025
50026
50027 "E-Rock-2" RID 32453 and 32570
50028 "E-Rock-3" RID 32453
50029 unknown RID 32453
50060 unknown

Most of the traffic was "Testing 1, Testing 1" and "E-Rock-2", etc.

"E-Bridgeport" was being identified as "E Dispatch 1". New TGID 3089 was being tested at around the same time.

Anyone have a line on the 50xxx numbers above? Definitely NSP RIDs, but why would there be Troop E stuff so high? Maybe this is a new county coming online, but the announced names don't seem to bear that out!

County Users?

I was just thinking the 50XXX number may be in line with Frankin County, which is 50 county in Nebraska. If I was going to assign numbers, that is how I would do it. But Franklin County is middle south, right on the Kansas line and in Troop C area of the NSP, not Troop E.
Just trying to offer some ideas.

Howdy, NeFire242 -

At around the same time, I heard them talking on the "Motorola 5" TG on ORION. They've been doing on-and-off testing between the two systems over the last few weeks, probably in an attempt to improve audio quality between the two in linked mode.
