With scanners now able to decode DMR thought it would be helpful to start a thread so we can figure out these systems together. Please list any info you have for DMR systems within Nebraska

I can confirm Madison County's Emergency Management had used 453.6 before they switched to DMR, which leads me to believe they still do. Since I don't live there any longer, I can't give up to the minute yes they do or no they dont. Plus I don't own a DMR capable rig (YET!)

FWIW: I know the license for Omaha Tribal Police does list DMR as an emission, but the only digital mode they (currently) use on that frequency is encrypted P25 p1. Routine ops are analog and they'll switch to P25 to go "secure."

World Series DMR

Anyone listening to the world series DMR activity? I have them on 464.225 and 464.9625 so far.
Trying to confirm others. Maybe someone has a list of freq already? Very active.

DMR-MARC's ham repeaters is a good testing point for the DMR scanners. The 156/Maple site has a great range, can't remember the frequency right now tho.

For the CWS MECA has a Capcity plus DMR system that 464.225 and 464.9625 are a part of it, there should be 4 more frequencies. You should hear security and medical within the stadium on that system. Everything outside the stadium should be on the ORION system LE Event 3, Metro 1 and a fire block talk group.

I can confirm Perkins County uses DMR but I can not confirm anything beyond that due to a programming error on my part.

Looks like Jefferson county (453.3375) and Thayer county (460.275) are both using color code 1 and time slot 1 with all call TG for law enforcement dispatch. Wouldn't be surprised if they use more TGs.

Exactly how does DMR make RTK more accurate? RTK should be accurate to less than a centimeter...
...This provides even more accuracy than GPS alone.

I think you misinterpreted my original post. The point I wanted to make is RTK is more accurate than GPS. DMR is just the radio beacon technology that a lot of RTK systems are adopting, thus the large number of farms with DMR licenses.

Small point, RTK is a method to achieve sub-centimetre GPS positions utilizing a GPS reference station. Most modern TRK(with or with out GLONASS capability) systems receive positions on at least two more carriers than a traditional L1 GPS receiver. Also, with out an active reference station, a RTK receiver is not all than more accurate than consumer GPS.

I have yet to see a RTK system that uses DMR as the over the air data transport method(I use RTK almost every day, and I am familiar wth most brands of RTK equipment). EVERY RTK system I have seen uses one of three methods to transport the correction data:
1: (the most common) 9600bps GMSK over UHF frequencies between 430-470MHz. This is a cyclic data burst once, approximately every 0.75-1.0s.
2: 900MHz or 2.4GHz spread spectrum in the ISM band.
3: Subscription to a VRS network via cellular modem.

Most likely the DMR licenses are for either voice, or for asset tracking, not RTK data transport.

I may be wrong, but I have yet to see DMR used to transport RTK data.

Edit: do you have any links to commercially available RTK systems that use DMR as the RTK correction data transport method? I did a Google search on some term combinations, and came up dry. If it is being used, I am genuinely interested in learning about it.

Fremont Area Medical Center is running a Capacity Plus system using
462.0625 463.625 and 464.825. Wasn't that much activity on it so wasn't able to get the LCNs.

Also looking through state callsign found 854.1375 with a DMR emissions code it's possibly for the Lincoln Regional Center.

It looks like UNO and Paypal are encrypted. Not sure if it is full time / all talkgroups or not but wasn't willing to wait around to find out. I am confirming a few security frequencies for Frontline / Aksarben and Frontline / Midtown Crossing. I'll post my results here and, if I understand correctly, submit it to the database.

is a Capacity Plus system. Haven't heard any traffic. My 436HP displays CAP with full bars for signal. Don't know the LCN order. I tried the analyze feature on my 436HP. Seems like UNIDEN never fixed the ANALYZE feature. I've been picking up (Security TGID 502) from Bergan Mercy Hospital system. 462.175, I programmed that system as a DMR One Frequency. Hopefully Mon - Fri will have more traffic on these hospital systems

Nice! On Friday night, I also picked up First National Bank (downtown) and seemed to be getting most of their transmissions on a single frequency DMR but was standing next to security as I missed one. They said their radio has many channels but was only on one. I wonder if it is set to scan or not. Then that night I plugged in my 436HP to my car and it immediately fried. I ordered another one on Amazon and it should be here Monday. Hopefully my other one can get replaced but I realized that scanning these systems probably would be much easier with two to see if I'm missing any transmissions.

Found out that First National has one channel for security, 1 for management, and another unknown one. I was missing transmissions because the area I was in was a dead zone for them. Planning on submitting this and a few Frontline Private Security frequencies to the database. I'm surprised, JigsawPuzzleMan, any hospitals (even security) are on DMR. One would think they would be on the local Motorola/P25 systems.
