Going to LV on vacation

Vegas scanning
Police are "Metro" found on conventional channels
Fire are on a trunked system (SNACC)
North Las Veas Police is also on the trunked system (SNACC)
Highway Patrol on another statewide EDACS system (NSRS)
All can be found in the rrdb, under clark county. One note be selective on tgids from the snacc and the NSRS, there are many users. (Don't want to clutter your scanning with boring airport workers.)
For digital if you want to, there's Nellis AFB on the motorola trunked apco25 system (NNSA)
Bring your sunblock it is summer time out here 110 degrees yesterday on the airport ramp. Enjoy your stay in VEGAS.

City Center?
Any updates on the new City Center frequencies, systems and/or tg's? It seems to be an MGM property, so I wonder if it's the same as what listed here on RR under MGM trunk??
Heading there, then San Francisco next week.

It was annoying (while travelling) for my gf, but after we stumbled into the room, hubba hubba, she'd pass out, I was scanning. Casino Security was damn interesting. Though I suspect they recently started using Nextel/Sprint or other private push-to-talk cell system.
How'd you find out all this?

For the most interesting PD traffic in the strip area, is it best to program the both SNACC North LV PD on the trunked system and the NLVMPD on conventional?
Yes, the SNACC is best for NLVPD, Metro Police channels are conventional, interesting favorite at night DEA 419.5. PL 156.7. Just look through the Radioreference database under Nevada/clark county. This town is just full of stuff to listen to!!

Heading back to LV/Aria this week. I've been browsing and haven't found any published changes.
Any Aria updates I may have passed over?
I'm disappointed to read about the Metro PD/Broken Sky downgrade. Though I've read a few of the VHF's light up here and now.
