Receiving Las Vegas PD project 25; but nothing from North Las Vegas PD or Fire & Nevada Highway patrol!

What to I need to do ?

Assure that those systems are not avoided. I have noticed on mine, when using the database sometimes certain systems are avoided.

You can also extend the range, and also assure that the appropriate "service types" are enabled.

Is this the same issue that was on the HP/Uniden forumn? There is an answer - either way. There is no location data for the sites. Untill that gets corrected they will never download.

You can create a FL and include.

Those were corrected 12/21 - they should be in the latest DB if it made it in time, if not will be next week.

If I looked correctly - they ARE in Sentinel now.

If it was updated on 12/21, it should be in the 12/23 update.

After updating Sentinel, did you write to the scanner?

I just looked at sentinel. Now I don't have HP-1 or HP-2 I have the BCD536HP. I assume the database is the same in sentinel? If so what I see is all the SNACC system sites have been left out. The talkgroups are there but no sites? So what you need is an older profile until someone puts the sites back in for the sentinel database. Hopefully you guys saved your early profiles to a folder? Not sure you can save a profile from 536 and put it to hp-1/2?

Well that would explain it. Maybe ask a RR dB admin what happened to them.

And yes, the two dBs would be the same except the x36 dB is usually pulled about 24 hours after the HP dB, so it might have slightly updated info.

It looks like all the Sites are on RR with locations. My Sentinel is showing 4 Sites. It looks like they are all the Nye County sites. The Clark county sites are not there, but there is location info. You would have to ask a RR admin or UPMan to look into why the Clark Co sites are not there. I don't see anything obvious, but I might not be able to see all the settings. The system is defined as being in Clark and Nye Counties, and it appears all the sites have frequencies and coordinates.

Here is what was changed by RR on 12/21/14, and that appears to have messed up something:

Yes, you can. Export it as an HPE in x36 Sentinel and import the HPE in HP Sentinel.

There was a thread on the Yahoo group about this (if memory is correct). Location data was missing or wrong on some sites and it would not download the sites without correction.

Sorry - but that's my extent of info. - it may also have a thread on Uniden's forum.

Might be wrong. I can't tell if it's accurate or not, but there is location data on those sites. Maybe someone from that area can tell if it's reasonably accurate.

I'm not sure what's going on as the sites and talkgroups all have proper geotags. The difference between what is downloaded and what's not downloaded is the frequency band. The one Nye County site that did not download is Pahrump which is 800Mhz, same as all the Clark County sites.

I'm wondering if Sentinel is dumping the 800Mhz sites when it encounters the VHF sites? As far as I know, we don't have any other multiband systems in the database. When ranges were added to the sites, it's possible this triggered something in Sentinel to examine the sites further.

The only strange thing I noticed is that the system did not have any default location data set for the system. I've added this in but I don't think it would affect which sites are downloaded.

Guess we'll find out Monday if Uniden manages to pull off a database dump unlike in previous weeks.
