I haven't made the move to anything digital yet and still use an analog Yaesu FT-7900. Most of the entertaining frequencies have moved on and, aside from amateur bands, my radio is mostly quiet. I've tried researching the site references, but I'm either doing something wrong or the information is out of date. Can anyone recommend any entertaining frequencies that can still be heard on analog radios like mine?
I'm out shooting often and would really like to listen in on Southern Nevada BLM, but have yet to locate a good frequency and tone. The Sky Combat Ace pilots flew low over me recently. I have them at: 123.150, but I only hear static.
Here's what I have so far so you can have a better idea of my level of boredom. :
National Park Rangers: Rx: 170.050 Tone: 107.2
DEA Tactical (been quiet for a while): Rx: 419.500 Tone 156.7
Papillon Helicopter tours: Rx: 153.0125 Tone: 127.3
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, in advance.
