There really isn't a best, as you move about the valley site reception will vary. Program in Angel Peak, Apex, Hotel Rio, Las Vegas, Mount Potosi, and Sloan.

By all means bring it! Everything on the spectrum is there to hear! Pack an HT as well, all kinds of hamming goin' on too.

i upgrades my SDS 200 last night to DMR. already programmed for vegas. somehow i will get it and m 436 into my carry on along with my HT. i am hoping the DMR comes in well from the circus. seems like every casino now has DMR on radio ref. i programmed them all. anyone experienced with hearing these from the strip? if i am say at the circus, could i copy DMR from way up the strip?

I live in Henderson - several miles off the strip and can hear the Circus DMR on my Vertex HT in my living room. You wont have any problems. It looks like only Security is on the DMR system there - everything else is conventional UHF.
