For those who enjoy watching motorsports and/or monitoring radio traffic related to the race you might enjoy section CC of Thursday's Las Vegas Review Journal which has a very detailed map of the race course and other useful information.

As for radio LVFD is providing fire and medical services for the event and today two talkgroups on the SNACC system were in full swing for it. They are:
Tac 209 TGID 41776 Also known as Zone 3 Ch 9
Tac 210 TGID 41808 Also known as Zone 3 Ch 10

NHP was using LV 4 TGID 05-127 on the Nevada Shared Radio System.

Happy monitoring.

TAC 209 Open Mike

It is most interesting now when a Tac channel has an open mic and you hear the roar of the race cars in the background.
