Hello All:
I took this from a post way down the line. Could someone tell me what the frequencies would be for all these mountains? Do they have rangers on each mountain, or are these considered ski patrols for the different resorts?

Thanks,
Eric

These indicate the repeater sites for the WMNF system. 171.525 is the repeater output. That will hear all the repeaters you can get in your area. The 123.0, 131.8, etc are PL tones that affect accessing each repeater. If your scanner does CTCSS, you may be able to separate or identify which repeater the user is on. However, the main thing to have in your scanner is 171.525.

Oh BTW, sorry. Various ski areas, mountains, etc use different frequencies. These simply state where the repeater is. Not that the mountain listed uses the repeaters for that mountains ops.

I think this info may need some updating as I was in the area recently and found several DPLs being used.
I couldnt place locations but I caught D031 and D223 being used.

Is there anyone in the area that might be able to give it a listen?

On which Frequency?
I was up there all weekend and only CTCSS was monitored on 171.5250

Anyone else catch these?

WMNF 171.525 PL's

I monitor 171.525 daily from Berlin, NH and haven't seen any DPL's in use. Also I can confirm that 171.525 Mt Wash and Wildcat PL's are as listed in the Wiki. That frequency is monitored in my Coos County Rail, Utilities and Recreation feed on RR. I have text tagging but it doesn't display the tones.
