Union City, N.J. Phase 2 800mhz.system

In Hudson County, N.J. has anyone had success receiving Union City's 800mhz. Phase 2 system? I downloaded the information directly from the Radio Reference site and have used 2 different Uniden phase 2 capable scanners. Even while traveling in Union City I never hear anything on their system. Perhaps one of the parameters posted in Radio Reference is incorrect? Any help in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

I was the one that created the original P25 system entry and recorded it perfectly on my 436 for 4 hours last winter while monitoring from Teterboro.

The data is correct.

Strange I programmed both my BCD325P2 & BCD536HP directly from Radio Reference. Neither radio receives their system even while traveling through Union City. I wonder if they changed some parameters.

I can hear them fine from West Orange. I have not updated my scanner in at least 6 months, so nothing has changed with their system.

There is no West Orange simulcast for the Union City system. What I'm saying is I live in West Orange and I have no trouble picking up the Union City system from here.

Yeah, phase 2 is just a type of digital communication standard. Any agency can use it. It's not unique to NJICS.
