Santa Fe TRS's

I received a submission for Santa Fe stating that the public works TRS is no longer active, and everything is on the Public Safety system now. Can someone run Unitrunker and confirm the current channels on the system, and confirm that the public works system is dead.

Also, the last time I was in Santa Fe, there were several TG's that were active, but not in the DB. I would appreciate if someone can ID these new TG's and submit them.

I was in Santa Fe 3 weeks ago, and also the beginning of June and noticed the same. I did a search for any TRS control channels/systems and didn't find any that sounded like they had anything to do with Santa Fe, or public works type traffic. It also seemed like the Public Safety frequency lineup was different than what was in my scanner (although using CC trunking makes that not terribly important). There may have been a couple of new talkgroups that might have been PW related, but I locked them out as I only listen to Police/Fire.

When I was in Santa Fe earlier this month I spent a couple days searching the 851-869 MHz band. I did locate some new TRS's & submitted them to RR:
Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM) Trunking System, Santa Fe, New Mexico - Scanner Frequencies
Computel Communications Trunking System, Santa Fe, New Mexico - Scanner Frequencies

I was using these scanners: Uniden BCD996XT, Uniden BC780XLT, Uniden BCD396T, Radio Shack PRO-97 & PRO-106 scanners.

The former Control Channel for Santa Fe Public Works (856.2125) no longer transmits any data, and there is no other Control Channel at all in the 851-869 Mhz area with a System ID of 192B. 856.2125 is actually a voice channel of the Santa Fe Public Safety TRS Santa Fe Public Safety Trunking System, Santa Fe, New Mexico - Scanner Frequencies

Other frqs that were part of the Santa Fe Public Works TRS, 854.1375, 854.1875, 854.4625, & 856.6375 are also used as voice channels in the Santa Fe Public Safety TRS Santa Fe Public Safety Trunking System, Santa Fe, New Mexico - Scanner Frequencies

At this time there is no way to log the Santa Fe Public Works TRS, no way to obtain channels or TG's. It's not on the air.

Why limit it to only unitrunker software.
Maybe someone has it available by using another software
Many other software(Treport,trunker,etc) available to use to log that type of information for Type II systems.

I tried, but do not get nearly a strong enough signal for accuracy...over the winter months the signal is much stronger so I will keep trying.

I don't care what software anyone uses to log the system, what I do care about is accuracy!

Oh, I get what you mean. I thought the holdup was about the now non-existent Santa Fe Public Works TRS. It's still showing up in the database at Santa Fe County, New Mexico (NM) Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference & Santa Fe Public Works Trunking System, Santa Fe, New Mexico - Scanner Frequencies Is there anything holding up removing it?

There's no doubt that 860.2375 is part of the Santa Fe Public Safety Santa Fe Public Safety Trunking System, Santa Fe, New Mexico - Scanner Frequencies TRS. It's on the same license of WQOX375 for this TRS, and they are the only licensee in all of New Mexico on 860.2375 MHz. While I was in Santa Fe it was active with Public Safety related traffic, I was just so busy putting together business TRS's that I did not have the time to see TG's roll over on this frq from the other frqs in the TRS. The next time I am in Santa Fe I will check to confirm it is on this TRS and advise you.

855.4875 is on the same shared license of WQBI580 with the other Santa Fe Public Safety TRS frqs, besides the WQOX375 frqs, and the only other licensee in the state is Carlsbad, about 245 miles southeast of Santa Fe. 855.4875 was also active with Public Safety related traffic, I did not take the time to see TG's roll over on this frq from the other frqs in the TRS. I will check it out next time in Santa Fe too and advise you.

Until my trip back to Santa Fe, maybe other listeners can keep an eye on 855.4875 & 860.2375 especially in case they turn out to be one of the two missing control channel frqs, since I found two on my trip there this month, now listed as 857.2125 & 858.2125, and there are sometimes four control channels in a Motorola TRS.
