I have been listening to BCSO (primarily EAST) for many years now. But within the past week or so, I have noticed a big drop in voiced radio calls (both day and night). Are they now using more computer-aided-dispatch to and from the the mobiles? Has anyone else noticed this?

I run the Bernalillo County feed and have been monitoring BCSO with my 996P2 as well, everything seems normal to me. Is it possible they are working on towers that affect your area, Sandia or Cedro Peak?

I pretty much only monitor EAST with the LPE-200 as I live in the east mountains. I'm sure you're right, but EAST traffic just seems LESS to me. (It would be interesting though to see what info is dispatched via the mobile terminal.)

I live in Cedar Crest and have noticed the same. The other night I heard all the east unit switch to North dispatch.
