Well, I picked up a Uniden BCT8 with the interest of listening to local police, ems, etc...
This is my area: Scanner Frequencies: Bell Fleetnet - Ontario Provincial Government Zone 2 Trunking System, Southeast Zone, Ontario
I'm pretty sure I set the trunking up properly (at least according to the manual)*, but when I start scanning, the TRUNK M flashes, bank 1 flashes, and SCAN scrolls across the screen, but it never picks anything up... I checked the channels to make sure I don't have any locked out by accident, and it all looks good.. just no JOY.
* I'm not quite sure if the Motorola Type II VHF (E2-Hi) is the right setting for Motorola Type II SmartZone?
Anyone have any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I tried doing a search but didn't come up with anything relative to my problem for my area
