I just purchased my first scanner and it did not come with much for instructions. It is a Uniden BC346XT. I have stumbled through programming channels but now I can not scan ONLY them. What I am trying to do is scan only the channels I have programmed within the selected group. How do I circulate continuously through multiple selected channels. I assume it can be done, right? Thanks.

Did you allocate a new system and group quick key for the stuff you've programmed? It sounds like that might be the issue here. It's something a lot of people get caught on. You can turn off the preprogrammed stuff by disabling its associated quick key.

Also, if you are hearing more ID's in your system than you have programmed, then your system needs to be set to "ID Scan" instead of "ID Search"
