Arrow FAQ for New Scanner Owners

The RR Wiki has an FAQ section that provides lots of information for the new scanner user. It will explain things like trunking and trunking terms, conventional, CTCSS (PL), etc. You will find a link to the RR Wiki at the top of this page.

Before you post a question about something, please check the Wiki to see if the answer is there, it contains a wealth of general and specific information.

If you are considering purchasing a scanner and need information as to what will serve your purpose, please visit the Scanner Decision article before posting questions.
