Best scanner / radio maganzine

What is the best scanner magazine to subscribe to. I want one that has inforamtion and articles about scanning, and articles about things such as the switch to the P 25 system. I have heard about National Communications, and supposedly you get big discounts on scanner software if you subscribe (anyone know how much of a discount). Are there any other suggestions for subscriptions? Thanks!

The thing about mags is that their data isn't really that up to date - a 60-90 day time lag wouldn't be all that unusual.

Magazines are so 80-ish anyway. Use this site (the Ohio forum is very busy) as well as the various email groups at Yahoo and others. They're much more likely to have more up to date information. Get familiar with our wiki as well- it's the largest of its kind on the planet, and has lots of information on scanners and even a section on Ohio data above and beyond our database

You may enjoy Monitoring Times. You can check out the on-line version, and if you like it subscribe to the magazine. It covers more than scanners, but you may find other topics of interest.
