Easy ground technique for testing?

Does anyone have an easy idea for grounding a mobile radio set up inside the house to test if it is working properly? Not looking for a permanent solution just a quick way to get it grounded to see if the transmit problems with it clear up.

Its a cobra 29 LX.

Not sure what ground you might be talking about (radio; antenna; lightning; electrical?) but grounding (or not grounding) shouldn't cause a problem with your transmitter. What kind of transmitter problem do you have?

Transmitter problems? Could that be bad SWR, antenna?
