Hello From Australia / uniden 536-PT question

Hi
trying to use this websites scanner programing feature however
I am unsure how to use it , I have tried with the copy of Sentinel that came
with the scanner but it cant see the web site to get the frequencies

has someone got information on either what I am missing or what's wrong ??

Well, I am probably not the best person to help you with this, me giving advice is like handing a chimp the keys to the Space Shuttle. But, since no one has yet to dive in the water, I'll jump in. I would first go to Uniden's website and follow the instructions provided for getting your latest Firmware update.. then, once that is done, open up Sentinel, look in the upper left for the " Update " drop down, do that..... I hope I am at least pointing you in the right direction... maybe someone more knowledgeable will jump in. Take care down there.

My turn...With Sentinel you update the master database to the scanner to add systems, sites etc. The database only contains US and Canadian info. So my guess is try a different program. I'm sure someone else will clarify

I'm not sure American firmwares are for your model, be careful and call Uniden Australia.
