Looking for Info

Hello I have been away from using my scanner for several years now but I am coming back and need info. I am from Ontario,Canada and would like to know how to scan trunk systems. I used to be able to pick up al Fire, EMS and Police in my local area but the have all switch to a trunk system several years back. I have read up on it and I thing I would need a unit like the Uniden BCD536HP If this would work please let me know and any other info would greatly be appreciated.
