I'm finding an odd thing on here and maybe I'm not searching properly.

When looking under Illinois - Madison County (Which is right near St. Louis) I get this list:

https://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?ctid=650

It does not include 155.475 which is the ISPERN at Collinsville, IL and quite popular, especially on Friday and Saturday nights.

However, if I do an FCC Callsign search for KSB235 I get this:

https://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?fccCallsign=ksb235

Which indeed does have a listing for 155.475:

1 155.47500000 11K2F3E FB 1 0 300.000 38.80756 -90.00594 EDWARDSVILLE MADISON IL

Since I do already have this frequency, what I am really looking for is what might be a paired frequency that units might be calling ISPERN on.

At times during or after a bulletin, I hear "...Unit calling ISPERN go ahead...." but, then nothing. So I am thinking there must be another frequency the units might be calling them on.

Since I am not finding ISPERN on the Madison County list, it's making it more diffucult to find.

Thanks in advance.

That is a Nationwide Interop channel (VLAW31) which is not listed in local databases.

They are using conventional without a repeater so you will only hear the base unless you are close to the mobile unit, which is using the same frequency, just with a lower power.

If your hearing them say "Unit calling ISPERN go ahead" on 155.475, then you're most likely hearing ISPERN, which is Illinois State Police Emergency Radio Network. They have freqs listed under Illinois /Statewide / Common / Shared in the local database under call sign KN3600. When you go into Illinois, you should see Statewide Common Shared on that main page. It does not show after you click Madison County. It is here Illinois /Statewide / Common / Shared

Are you listening with or without a pl tone?

Code:
155.47500 KN3600 M CSQ	ISPERN Illinois State Police Emergency Radio Network (HF-1) FMN Law Talk
155.47500 KN3600 B 67.0 PL	ISPERN 67.0	Illinois State Police Emergency Radio Network (HF-1) FMN Law Talk
155.47500 KN3600 M 156 DPL	ISPERN D156	Illinois State Police Emergency Radio Network (HF-1) (Narrowband) FMN Law Talk

I would have to say without pl tone because I do not know what that is.

I listen on a Pro-95 and a Pro-2021. When we hear the bulletins they always end with "ISPERN....KSB235".

I suspected I might need mobile units programmed but didn't know if there was a repeater channel for them or not. I suspect there are a large number of units that can respond to ISPERN bulletins due to the areas I hear them calling about.

If that freq/call sign don't come up, it's possible that it never was submitted into the database here. It will show on the FCC but only confirmed submitted data is posted here in this database. If your hearing that callsign on that freq, submit it to our database.

I dont think the pro95 does pl tones and I know nothing about the other model you listed.

KSB235 is the callsign for the D11 old VHF dispatch frequency. All ISP channels are simplex. They are likely simulcasting on ISPERN and D11 Dispatch. They are calling back into D11 on 155.475.

So please help me understand. I am listening on 155.475. If the units are calling back on 155.475 are they too far away for me to hear because they are mobile units?

Thanks
