Hi all
I am put up a new antenna now. Deep should i put the of antenna in the ground ? It will up a long side my house . It will 20' ft tall and it will be fix to the house about 10 ft up the pole . Any help please i am put a starduster M 400 new . Iam george 73 years old and from carmichael calif.

Welcome to the forum! In general, any vertical antenna will benefit from height. The higher, the better. The M400 appears suited for transmit and receive in the 10M Ham, or CB band, by default. Is that your area of interest?

Thank you for thread yes CB for now . i am getting to work tec license . I have been off the radio for a long time i miss it . If i put the base of the antenna in the ground 3ft and tie it to the house at about 10 - 12 ft that should be good ? Please let me know though on that . Thank you kqua4706
