Default BK GPH driving me nuts

Good morning first post and most likely not my last. I'm a Wildland fire fighter and my company has BK GPH and DPH radios. I'm having two issues, the first is a GPH that only has one group, did BK make a one group radio? The second is the company invested in the programming software but it will not hook up to the same GPH radio. I have tried going to properties and switching to Windows 7 with no result. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You might get a better response at:

I do believe that the GPH came in one group and 14 group configurations.
Each radio ie eph, gph, mph, dph etc has it's own programming software. The programming cable is the same but software is model specific.
Find an old timer COML or COMT on a big fire and they will probably have the software to be able to help you.
