ID Scan

I was wondering how to lock out certain talkgroups listed under the decimal format,
Or am I stuck listening to any communication that comes through the 8 frequencies I'm scanning?

Make sure you are in "ID Scan" Mode.

Look here:

Easier to Read BCD325P2 Digital Scanner Manual

On the right "Changing ID Scan/ID Search Mode"

Then lock out the groups you don't want to hear...

since they might add talkgroups.

and i assume DMR works like any other trunking site.
when you hear a group you don't want...
hit hold, then hit lockout twice quickly.
if you are too slow, or may want to hear them later, only hit it once.
if you are too slow and it is only a temporary lockout they will come back after a power cycle.
off and on.
the settings for lockout are temporary lockout, permanent lockout, unlock.
and even with permanent you can put them back in.
to save time you could, hit hold, type in the group number, and do the lockout thing.
