Albany area Federal freqs

I found a couple of new Federal channels while searching the bands this week.

167.7875 N167 FBI simplex or repeater input, in the clear

173.1000 N100 unknown "Security Control" refs to Building 112

The FBI Albany Repeater seems to have been converted over the winter to P25. 162.6375 was the Analog input [might be reused]

Thanks for the FBI info. I'll be looking for the other half of the pair, but traffic is very sporadic.

Your DoE response was based on the NAC code, which is not as consistent as your sources state. I wonder if Knolls has a building numbered 112.

Not true on the response by NAC alone.

I have personally monitored them [DoE] AND YES more work needs to be done, such as inputs, but so far they use $100, $200, $150, $500 and an odd $293 and $E02

Odd that Brookhaven is still Analog and the Middleton Mass site is Analog :wink:

Most likely Albany is Niskayuna, NY as it was very strong in the Area.

Some also were captured during the Albany 2009 FTX
