Afternoon all!

After my weekend upstate in Delaware County... I've noticed that on 155.655 (CSQ) -- which I keep that way to kill 2 birds with one stone (NYSP Troop C and Rensselaer County SO)... between Ulster County and Delaware County, almost to Otsego County, there are strong bursts of digital "noise" if you will. Anyone aware of someone on that freq, or close to it, transmitting digital audio??? This is only within the last year this could have happened. Last time I was up that way was last July 4th.

Any help would be appreciated!

Torrington CT PD is now using Kenwood Nexedge on that frequency. Just started since the end of June.

That's a bit of a stretch to Torrington Ct from Delaware and given the terrain I doubt it would be them.

Could it have something to do with the State Police AVL dispatching?

154.665, 154.935 and 156.210 among others pound into eastern New York from high atop the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The New Hampshire State Police use these in their digital system and they cause all kinds of interference for NY Police agencies.

I hear this every so often on 154.665,154.935 as well no idea why....
