In the next month or two the City of Pougkeepsie Fire Dept's radio system should be fully NarrowBand.

Also in the next month or two the City of Poughkeepsie will be simulcasting their. 10-75,10-76 and 2nd alarm tones over 453.900 (DCBF Dispatch). The reason for this is the City of Pok will be issuing pagers to their personnel for group call backs in the event of a 10-75/76 or 2nd or 3rd alarms and the pagers will be programmed with 453.650 and 453.900 so they can have county wide coverage.

For those who might ask what is a 10-75 and 10-76.

Do you know if this has anything to do with several license applications City of Poughkeepsie FD has before the FCC?
They have "pending" applications for repeaters on:

460.100/465.100
460.325/465.325
854.2125/809.2125
854.2625/809.2625

I've heard a few tests on the UHF frequencies, nothing on 800.

Yes it does, I wasn't going to post the two UHF Freqs until every thing was done. The two new UHF freqs are going to be Ops 3 and 4 and the simplex version of those channels will be fireground 3 and 4 I believe. The 800 freqs I'll have to look into, they might be a interop channel with PD but that is just a wild guess... I will ask though.

I'll have to plug them into the scanner and see if I come across anything in the future.

Just took another look at the Poughkeepsie City FD 800 MHz. applications filed in July. They now indicate:
11/03/2011 Dismissal Letter Sent
11/02/2011 Application Dismissed
