I believe medcom is the county wide EMS dispatch for suffolk

It sure is. Hear them on various frequencies here in Ct. - low band, high band, uhf and even the 800 TRS system. But what is this 467 freq?
Maybe some kind of a microwave link I am picking up?
It is pretty weak in comparison to other Medcom freqs (full scale for the most part). But fully readable.

WPCP829 Licensee: DURHAM, TOWN OF Mobile only 2 watts but ya never know

however in this case it is definitely either Suffolk or Nassau in Long Island because always hear "medcom" and also unit numbers like LI uses. I am going to have to set the scanner recorder on them all day to see what I can figure out.
Thanks for the help Mtnrider,
Bob

 Another thought is one of them fancy [you don't need a license, per the Sales person] Pac/RT's allows you to talk thru your mobile radio from your handheld

We have seen many of them here in New England where "M" told them don't worry it's only a few watts. Worst ones were on the same PL of Boston PD [using 465 input] and got into the BPD Rptrs when on the hills of Worcester county.

No problem......Maybe its a link to a transmitter.... like posted put both halfs in .....see then....
