Just a brief announcement to those who may be interested and around Long Island this Sunday Morning:
Ham Radio University is Sunday, January 8th, 2012 starting at 9am. HRU is at Briarcliff College, Bethpage NY. The Website is: Ham Radio University . There will be 25 classes (Forums) lasting 50 minutes each through the day. For a full schedule, check the Forum list: Forums
I gave an Intro To Scanner Radio forum last year. Due to the response from last year's class, I've been asked to come back this year and give the forum a second time. For those who missed the forum last year, or for those that had to listen from the hallway, the Scanner Forum is in room B and starts at 9am.
The material will be mostly the same, and if there is time, I hope to touch on ways to enhance your trunk radio fun by showing live examples of PRO96COM on the new Nassau P25 system, and using TRUNKER to watch the Suffolk County Trunk System.
