man transit uhf

hello i use to hear man uhf transit on 471.0875 with a pl of 100.0 but now im hearing them on a dcs od o25. which is suppose to be for islip fd..

Not really sure why pl 100.0 is not working for you. Are you sure your scanner is functioning properly?

All I am getting on that freq is Islip Terrace Fire District Dpl 023

I will see what I get in Nassau tomorrow on that freq..

Im out in nassau and I am only getting dispatch on 025. Dispatch is also weaker than the rest of Manhattan. I wonder why they changed from pl100 to dcs 025. I also wonder if anyone else switched anything around.

What was the final outcome of this? I just got a submission claiming that Manhattan Transit is broadcasting with 025 DPL instead of 100.0 PL on 471.0875. Before I make any changes, I want to get some more input on this.

EDIT: Disregard, I just verified it myself. They are indeed using 025 DPL now.

Sounds like Brooklyn is using 047 DPL now instead of 151.4 PL.

Queens is still using 186.2 PL. I haven't heard anything on the Bronx frequency yet.

NYC transit 471.0875 & 160.905

As of 12/14/13 I hear dispatcher on 471.0875 but no units. It appears to be a 1/2 simulcast with 160.905 Mhz.
Does anyone have any further info on the use of 471.0875??
Boy you can sure fill up your scanner memory channels with stuff from the 5 Boroughs....
