Does anyone know what the cars identified in the 8800 numbers such as 8802 8806 etc on the Rochester Police frequencies are? What law enforcement agency or city task force are they?

Rochester Police Tactical units. Every member is assigned an 88xx number.

Yes they are Rochester Police Officers. I have no clue if they are in marked cars or not, I do know they do not take routine jobs.

If those are badge numbers or IDs for specific officers, then they could be in any kind of vehicle.
