Here are some maps from the Char-meck website. Not as detailed as the ones he created, but they're pretty good.

http://www.charmeck.org/Departments/...sions/Home.htm
http://www.charmeck.org/Departments/...tions/Home.htm

EDIT: If you click on the division section of the CMPD map, it'll show a bigger map along with the areas of the division (1, 2, and 3).

Thanks for the link.
I have seen the maps on the website. Seems the maps Nortonterrier are more specific.

Gary KN4AQ
Cary, NC (suburb of Raleigh)

Everything "in the shack" is mothballed for when I set one back up aftermoving (only 2 1/2 years ago...). Most of my radio time is mobile:

ICOM 706MKIIG/Tarheel 200 HF mobile
ICOM IC-2820 dual-band w/D-STAR mobile
ICOM IC-92AD D-STAR handheld
Yaesu 8900 on 6, 2, 70cm mobile
Alinco DR-235 on 220 MHz mobile
Kenwood TH-F6 handheld
GRE PSR 600 and RadShack PRO-106

I'm slowly programming the GRE and PRO - too busy with other stuff to get it done! The old PRO-96 was loaded with stuff - too much to take in most of the time. So far with the GRE I mostly just have it on the Cary dispatch channel! Or the Raleigh Dispatch channel if I'm in Raleigh. The radios are so flexible I think I'll program a scan list or three with minimum stuff - Cary, Morrisville, Raleigh dispatch, maybe a Fire Dept or two, and then manually follow traffic to TAC channels in separate scan lists if something comes up and catches my interest.

73,
Gary KN4AQ

Thumbs up A late hello from Redclay - Chatham Co., NC

I don't get on the board as often as i like to - I monitor scanner traffic in central NC for
the media outlet i work for in the triangle. Nice to (still) get paid to listen to scanners, among
other things....

FWIW we use company Uniden 996T, 336T, Bearcat 210XLT, scanners, my own RS Pro-96 and other older Radio Shack gear we have accumulated; also a RS Pro 2030, i think it is, at home.
Hope to work into ham stuff eventually. rgds, Redclay

Redclay is a good guy. Unfortunately for him, he has known me for years.
