This is your invitation to attend the June 21st meeting of the Tarheel Scanner/Shortwave Group Meeting in Northeast Raleigh.
As usual we will meet at the Red, Hot & Blue Restaurant on Falls of Neuse Rd with dinner at 6:30pm and meeting at 7:30pm.
A couple of the topics to be discussed:
--I recently upgraded to a Motorola Droid Smartphone that operates on the open-sourced Android OS Platform. I will give a demonstration on some radio related apps that can be run on smartphones today.
--I would also like to get some feedback on the state of the radio monitoring hobby in NC and what features/capabilities would the NC monitoring enthusiast like to see in a next generation receiver.
